David Tao Gets Irritated Over Flight Delay

The singer ranted his frustrations via his microblog update and demanded compensation for his flight delay

David Tao was supposed to travel from Hong Kong to Chengdu, China last Thursday for a meeting on his upcoming concert. However, things did not turn out as smoothly as he thought.

The singer had been informed that there was a half-hour delay in his departure flight. David was waiting in the departure lounge when he was once again notified by the airline company that the boarding gate for his flight had been changed.

Upon rushing to the boarding gate, David was surprised to find out that his flight had already departed for Chengdu.

David and his assistant cancelled his scheduled meeting and checked in to a hotel in Hong Kong that night.

The 40-year-old was upset by this incident and immediately posted a series of frustrated updates.

David commented that the airline staff were "irresponsible and had low service standards". He also demanded for an explanation and compensation from the management of the airline company.

Although most of the netizens supported him on the matter, several netizens were unhappy with David's reaction.

They expressed, "You're the only one who was unable to get on board the plane. You cannot blame anyone but yourself. It is no big deal being a superstar."
